Jill Schoenhofer, MBA

Jill has a passion to educate and inspire others while having fun.  When working with corporations, her goal is to improve communication and working relationships.  Jill uses humour and anecdotes to engage participants.  She helps team members work well together and salespeople be more effective. 

Jill specializes in leading a wide variety of training starting with the DISC Personality Styles course.  Time Management, Emotional Intelligence, Conflict Resolution, Managing Teams, Customer Service, Leadership and Sales are courses that she offers both in person and online.  Jill and her team are experienced at engaging participants during training which makes her topics effective and practical.  

Jill has an MBA in Marketing, is a Certified DISC Trainer, has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology, an Adult Education Certificate and is also an international professional speaker.  She worked at advertising agencies for 10 years.  Following advertising, Jill taught business and marketing courses at colleges for over 19 years.  As an entrepreneur, running WellConnected for over 10 years, she loves making a difference with corporations. 

Jill keeps busy playing tennis year-round, sails on Georgian Bay during the summer and works from Nassau, Bahamas in winter.

Bernard Applewhaite

Facilitator

Bernard is an excellent facilitator who uses his acting background to lead entertaining and engaging workshops.  He is a natural at motivating clients to implement what they have learned. 

Bernard has worked for over 30 years in the financial sector in various management positions.  His thorough understanding of the sales process has helped entrepreneurs grow their businesses and provide their clients with the ultimate customer experience.  Bernard is a passionate trainer and educator, who has conducted numerous sessions on Sales, including Introductions/Referrals, Time Management, Risk Management and Customer Service. 

A graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University, Bernard obtained his Diploma in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing and has received many financial designations.  Bernard is currently the Membership Chair for the Peel Halton Chapter of Advocis, supporting the growth of Financial Advisors.

In Bernard’s spare time he enjoys tango dancing and acting.

Rebecca Golden

Facilitator

Rebecca recently joined our facilitation team.  She has extensive experience as a Workplace Conversation Coach, a Learning Designer and a Facilitator.   Rebecca leads workshops ranging from newly onboarded trainees to C-Suite Executives and has been coaching people for over 15 years.   She has designed and led workshops for major banks, pharma companies, real estate development firms, and others across Canada and the USA.  

By listening and inviting reflection, Rebecca works with people to meaningfully engage.  She guides leaders to find their own voice and kindles their ability to connect.  Rebecca’s work is rooted in helping people be curious, and to bring their humanity to the workplace.

Rebecca lives in Toronto, has a background in the Performing Arts and is a regular theatregoer.   She enjoys sailing on Lake Ontario in the summer, baking and cooking.   She can dance a little Bachata and is fascinated by West Coast Swing.

Wendy Anderson

Facilitator

Wendy is part of our experienced facilitator team.  She combines her skills as a professional, award-winning actor and creative thinker.  Wendy has decades of experience as a coach, designer and facilitator of adult learning.

She has worked in experiential learning for over 20 years with professionals across a broad range of industries from finance to global shipping.  Wendy’s goal is to help individuals identify and celebrate their strengths; while sharing insights on ways they can elevate their skills to achieve results.

Through various creative modalities, she delivers leadership coaching, sales coaching, emotional intelligence, change management, critical thinking and more.  Wendy has been referred to as “the Swiss Army Knife” of talents. 

Her certifications include Adult Learning, Somatic Coaching, Somatic Attachment Therapy and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and performance coaching.

Wendy’s hobbies include hiking, camping and creating textile art.

Linda Elming Freda

Administrative Assistant

Linda brings many skills that assist our team in staying organized using MS Office.  As a former business owner she shares her varied talents including extreme creativity with writing client proposals, learning guides, organizing training courses and assisting at speaking engagements.  Linda is a curious and tenacious problem solver who thinks outside the box.

Linda’s experience is varied, from excelling as an Insurance Underwriter, Analyst and Supervisor, to an award-winning Medical Lab Technician, and an experienced Family Practice Medical Administrator.  

She has a Business Degree from Seneca College, is a Chartered Insurance Professional and a certified Medical Lab Technician.

A life-long learner, Linda enjoys trying new activities. She has competed in Toastmaster’s Speech Contests, volunteered in the ER at Southlake Hospital and completed her 1st full Marathon in 2014.

Vito Marchese

Marketing and Promotional Manager

Vito looks after all our fun stuff, like binders, gifts, and promotional materials.  He is a seasoned marketing professional with over 18 years’ experience.  Vito’s expertise is in branding, logos and graphic design.

Vito has a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto.  He continues to expand his knowledge through industry courses and training. 

He lives in Toronto and is a proud father and husband. In his spare time he likes to cook, bike ride and practice yoga. 

Ray Rahman

Software Engineer

Ray oversees our website and online marketing. He is a veteran programmer with a passion for turning ideas into digital realities. Since embarking on his software development journey at age 19, he has honed his craft at companies likeAlbamerica Inc.

With a proven ability to navigate complex projects, Ray has established a strong reputation for delivering exceptional web and mobile applications to a diverse clientele, including numerous Fortune 500 corporations.  Ray is a results-oriented leader with a passion for innovation.

In Ray’s spare time, he renovates his home and runs an AirBNB.
